What is Solea?

Solea is the first FDA approved CO2 laser to cut hard and soft tissue. This technology was developed by Convergent Technologies in association with research completed at University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. Solea utilizes an unique wavelength that allows us to complete most fillings and soft tissue procedures like frenectomies with virtually no noise or vibration. This technology provides for an experience unlike any previous dental experiences

Why Solea?

The majority of hard and soft tissue procedures can be done with no anesthesia and soft tissue procedures are done with virtually minimal to no bleeding. What does that mean for your child as our patients? Solea is also far less invasive than using a traditional drill, which makes healing time following a procedure much shorter. With Solea, your child will be able to leave our office without that numb sensation following the appointment.
